I loved how the occasional oddball would show up in a field. It always pays to be unique.

Here is an aerial view of some daffodil and tulip fields. We got to go in our friend's plane to see the tulips, the San Juans, and the sun setting on the Cascades our first night in Washington. What an introduction!

Another ATC. I was going to use the background for a different project, but it didn't work out so I made this instead. I discovered that punchinella sticks well with gel medium. I hadn't tried that before.

A pear using the stained Glass technique. These are all ATC-sized; i.e., 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.
By Sherre

This is a new technique I tried for a swap. It is called the Stained Glass technique. It was developed by Julie Durocher. You color glue black- I did this by adding india ink to an old bottle of Elmer's. Then you can draw a design with pencil and then trace with the glue, or just freehand draw a design with the glue. I mostly just freehand drew with the glue. Then use watercolor paints. I used Lyra Watercolor Crayons and some Twinkling H2O colors. This one is titled "Tulip."

Here is a green collage in honor of St. Patrick's Day. The background was going to be done differently, but it didn't work the way I wanted it to, so the project morphed into this!

This was done for a Tuscany puzzle. It has a photo of my grandmother and aunt before they came to America from the Tuscany region of Italy. This photo is approx. from 1912. This piece went to a friend who used to attend my church for years and moved to Georgia. What a surprise when we both ended up in the same puzzle group.

This piece was done for a Garden Art puzzle. I collect birdhouses, so that is what I chose to put on this piece.

This is the front of a little deco I call "Fairy Secrets." The quote is from an antique music book. It reads like this, "up a hill and down a hill And past a dreamy meadow; There's a daisy field Where nodding blossoms grow;Ev'ry flower seems to bow And whisper to it shadow, Telling fairy secrets no one else may know."

This is the back side of the Fairy Secrets Deco.

This is the front side of a small Butterfly Fairy Deco. The words are from a 1923 Elementary Music book. They read, "In the night while I was sleeping, Fairies left their traces; Scattered on the grass I found them, Jewels gay and laces."
By Sherre

This is the back side of a small butterfly deco. The butterfly shapes were an ad in a bead tin. I covered the ads with scrapbook paper and added images and embellishments.
